This notice explains how Doc N.I.L Worldwide (DNwide) uses information provided through dnwide.com. For questions or privacy requests, use our contact page.
Information you provide
Applications collect professional and legal names, contact details, date of birth, location, profile descriptions, measurements, specialties, availability, representation information, passport availability and career goals. They also collect the photographs and links you submit. Profile updates can include videos. Casting requests collect client and project details, selected talent and the brief. Contact forms collect your message and contact details. Do not send a passport copy, bank credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information through these forms.
Technical information and cookies
The website and its hosting providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as request, device and error information. The dn_casting cookie identifies your casting list and is configured for 30 days; interacting with the list can renew it. Agency sign-in may also use authentication cookies. You can remove cookies in your browser, but doing so may reset your casting list or sign-in. The current site does not include an advertising pixel or an automated SMS enrollment system.
Why information is used
We use submissions to review applications, maintain authorized profiles, respond to inquiries, organize casting and agency operations, manage relationships and protect the service. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity: your consent for authorized profile publication, steps requested before entering a contract and performance of an agreement, legitimate interests in relevant agency administration and service security, or compliance with a legal obligation. We do not make representation decisions solely through automated profiling.
Public profiles and private application details
The application identifies which sections may become public if approved. Those profile sections and authorized media may be displayed on the website and shared with casting clients through packages. Legal name, email, phone, date of birth, management interests and other fields marked private are kept out of the public profile. A public profile can be viewed or copied by other people; a package can be accessed by someone who has its link. Submit public material with that visibility in mind.
Who receives information
Authorized agency personnel can access submissions and agency records. Hosting and storage providers process data to operate the site. Approved public information can be accessed by visitors and prospective clients. Other disclosures may be needed to carry out a requested engagement, comply with law or respond to a valid legal process. This site does not provide a mechanism for selling application records or using them for cross-context advertising.
Storage, security and international processing
Applications and media are stored using the site’s hosted database and file storage. Administrative access and private profile update links restrict access to relevant functions; keep update links confidential and contact us if one is exposed. No online service can promise absolute security. Hosting infrastructure and recipients may be in a different country from you. Where a transfer is regulated, applicable transfer requirements must be addressed before the relevant transfer is made.
Retention
Information is retained according to its purpose: application review, an ongoing talent or client relationship, agency records, security and any applicable legal or dispute requirements. The site does not currently use a single fixed automatic deletion period for all submissions. You can request deletion or ask about retention of your specific record. Necessary legal or contractual records may need to be retained after a profile is removed.
Your choices and requests
Use the contact page to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, removal of a public profile or withdrawal of publication consent. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, portability or appeal a decision about your request. We may need proportionate identity verification. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already lawfully carried out. You may complain to the data-protection authority where you live; UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Age and changes
The application is intended for people aged 18 or older and checks the age supplied before accepting an application. If you believe an underage person submitted information, contact us to request review and removal. We may update this notice as the service changes; the revision date appears at the top.
